On-set Color Grading & On-set LUT Creation
With today’s RAW and Log color space camera formats it's important to give clients the confidence that a beautiful images exists in the low contrast image the camera is recording. Monogram uses on-set color grading and the creation of on-set LUTs that carry the cinematographer's vision from set through the editorial dailies and into the color grade. Color graded images can be viewed by clients on-set, giving them an early look at the finished footage.
It’s become the standard to have on-set camera media backed up to several drives. Monogram adds an additional layer of protection, archiving all of the camera's source files to duplicate LTO tapes that live both in our studio and offsite.
With our iPad dailies system, clients are able to access all footage that is being shot in real time. Clients can review takes via iPad on-set, take notes, and provide immediate feedback.
We bring the edit to the location. When deadlines are tight, Monogram sets up an Editor with a mobile editing system on-set, where we can receive dailies from DIT for instant editorial, posting rough cuts before day's end. Our system goes anywhere.
